The Weigh In

Sweat glistening as the sound of the drums

Beat, thump, louder and louder.

Where I sit, I am fidgeting until my knees buckle

Then I need to rest my shaking palms against it

Before I have to stand up

To enter

Outnumbered

However

I am never alone

For I will forever have my self beside me.
